    Ways to maximise your referral income

    Referral cards

    Ridesharing is an intriguing subject – no wonder people ask you about your job all the time. If they want to follow in your track, all you have to do is give them your unique referral code and ask them to use it when signing up. It’s in their interest too, as your code cuts $75 off their Membership fee too!

    To make the process easy and elegant, you can ask your Member Success Representative for a couple of Splend referral cards that you can always carry with you in your wallet. You can find your unique Splend referral code in your Splend Member App.

    Social media

    To most Members, posting a selfie with their shiny new car comes naturally when they come to pick up their vehicles. Consequently, so does the attention of their friends and followers, especially those who are already interested in trying their luck as a rideshare driver. It’s the nature of the job that you’ll have plenty of stories to share as you roam the city, so finding new conversation-starters shouldn’t be too difficult either.

    Gumtree

    You can post a job ad on Gumtree for free, and just tell people about your work at Splend when they reach out to you. Don’t forget to mention the $75 discount they have on their Membership fee if they use your referral code. They can then decide if they want to sign up or not.

    An important thing to keep in mind: if you are advertising for referrals, use your own language and images, and do not include Splend’s branding.

    Community notice boards

    It’s sometimes worth rediscovering the old-fashioned ways. What do you have to lose? It literally takes less than a minute to place some A5 ads at your local notice boards. Keep it simple: just add some information about the car, pricing, and your contact details. However, don’t forget to mention the discount. You’ll be amazed how efficient these things can still be today!

    The same rule applies to reaching out to communities offline as does to online advertising: don’t use Splend’s name, logo or visual identity in your notices.

    Splend Member events

    Talking about Splend is one thing, but it will never compare to actually spending an hour or two in our community. You’re probably familiar with our Member events, but you may not be aware that these are basically open-house parties – anyone is welcome, not only Members.
