A bonus is by definition something special, often unexpected – in any case, a rare perk that few of us ever incorporate in our daily budgeting. If you’re a Splend member, it’s time to change the way you think about bonuses.
With the Splend referral program, there’s no limit to the number of people you can refer to us. In other words, you can collect the $150 bonus as often as you want. This makes networking a truly profitable activity.
Think of the cash bonuses as a regular supplement to your income that you can count on,
as long as you keep your eyes peeled for opportunities to refer someone to Splend.
Maximise your referral income
As a testament to the referral program being a viable source of extra income, one of our members has brought more than ten new drivers to Splend. He was also kind enough to share his strategy, which can be summed up in the 5 tips below:
1. Referral cards
Ridesharing is an intriguing subject – no wonder people ask you about your job all the time. If they want to follow in your track, all you have to do is give them your unique referral code and ask them to use it when signing up. It’s in their interest too, as your code cuts $50 off their joining fee.
To make the process easy and elegant, you can ask your Member Success Representative for a couple of Splend referral cards that you can always carry with you in your wallet. You can find your unique referral code in the Splend app.
2. Social media
To most members, posting a selfie with their shiny new car comes naturally when they first pick it up. This always grabs the attention of their friends and followers, especially of those who are already interested in trying their luck as a rideshare driver.
It’s also the nature of the job that you’ll have plenty of stories to share as you roam the city, so finding new conversation-starters down the road shouldn’t be too difficult either.
You can post a job ad on Gumtree for free, and just tell people about your work at Splend when they reach out to you. Don’t forget to mention the $50 discount they have on their joining fee if they use your referral code when signing up. They can then decide if they want to follow through or not.
Important: if you’re advertising for referrals, personalise your ads with your your own words and images, and don’t use Splend’s branding.
4. Community notice boards
It’s sometimes worth rediscovering the old-fashioned ways. It takes less than a minute to place some printed ads at your local notice boards.
Keep it simple: just add some information about the car, pricing, and your contact details. Don’t forget to mention the discount. You’ll be amazed at how efficient these things can still be today.
The same rule applies to reaching out to communities offline as to online advertising: don’t use Splend’s name, logo, or visual identity in your notices.
5. Splend member events
Talking about Splend is one thing, but it will never compare to actually spending time in our community. You’re probably familiar with our member events, but you may not be aware that these are basically open-house parties – anyone is welcome, not only members.
Bringing your friends and family to these events is the greatest way to get them familiar with the way Splend works and how we can help them become a successful Uber driver.
We enable people to make money by driving for on-demand apps such as Uber.
We’re more than a car rental company. In addition to new-model cars and all the essentials to start earning money with Uber as quickly as possible, our members enjoy driver training and dedicated support via a personal account manager, as well as member benefits such as partner discounts and exclusive events.
